The USB Rally is an opportunity to meet Belarusian youth studying around the world, to exchange experience and contacts as well as join the informal network of Belarusians residing abroad.
The USB Rally 2010 is already the 4th gathering of Belarusian youth residing in countries around the world. The descriptions of previous Rallies are available at the following address http://www.eesc.lt/en/Activities/Events. See photos of the previous Rally.  
The geographical boundaries of the informal USB community are broad, extending from the Baltic countries, Belarus and Eastern Europe through the Central, Western and Southern Europe to Scandinavian countries and the USA. The reasons of the high interest in USB Rally are its idea to unite active Belarusian youth dispersed around the world and its format that combines lectures, workshops, dynamic cultural programme and free time activities. This year the programme will include meetings with prominent Belarusian and foreign human rights fighters, a master class on arts as an instrument of civil enagagement and a seminar on skills of self-presentation. The programme of the Rally will be available in July-August (working language of the Rally is Russian).
Meanwhile the organizers are open to your ideas and suggestions concerning the Rally programme. To propose a topic of an activity (e. g. lecture, master class, workshop etc.), an activity itself (e. g. conception of an evening programme, side event etc. ) or lecturers, please address us via the email Julija.narkeviciute@eesc.lt.    
The organizers will cover the travel costs of the participants as well as provide with meals and accommodation during the event. Participants who are required to possess a visa to enter Lithuania, will be assisted with visa application process (visas will be free of charge).
Who can register to the USB Rally 2010: Belarusian youth (18-35 years old) studying abroad, Belarusian students studying in their motherland and USB alumni (former USB participants). The latter should attach a copy of their ID instead of a student card.  The EESC will carry out a selection of registered candidates. Results of the selection will be available by the end of August 2010.
