The Eastern Europe Studies Centre in cooperation with People in Need (Czech Republic) has opened an exhibition "Coming Closer. Cuba" on 18 February 2010. The exhibition will take place in the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania (2nd House) until 1 March 2010.

Youth from Belarus willing to experience different academic environment abroad are invited to inform themselves about scholarships, conferences and other academic foras for Belarus. The information sheet has been prepared by the Pontis Foundation in order to provide Belarusian youth with academic reference to recent calls for applications. Download the document.

On November 6-8, 2009 a forum of Lithuanian and Kaliningrad region youth took place in Kaliningrad. The organizers of the forum were the Eastern Europe Studies Centre, Youth Government of Kaliningrad region as well as Lithuanian Youth Council.

The Eastern Europe Studies Centre (EESC) commemorated the third anniversary of its activity on 27 October. Public institution Eastern Europe Studies Centre was registered on 18 August 2006. On 27 October it started its activities. Currently the EESC is implementing 6 projects. It constantly prepares studies, overviews, publishes articles, organizes seminars, conferences, discussions.
