On April 12, 2011, the Eastern Europe Studies Centre (EESC), in association with the Institute of International Relations and Political Science (Vilnius University), have hosted a roundtable debate with Simon Maxwell on the subject of “EU Development Co-operation Policy: New Challenges and Opportunities”. The EU aid riddle: bilateral versus multilateral development assistance? Does (and should) the development co-operation policy of the new member states differ from the old member states? These were amongst the questions discussed.
