The Vilnius Young Leaders Meeting took place on November 4-5, 2020, and due to the applied quarantine restrictions in Lithuania the event was organized remotely. During the open discussions, Lithuanian experts discussed problems that Lithuania and the Eastern Partnership countries face in the security, disinformation and independent news media domains. During the digital event, a lot of attention was paid to the recent events in Belarus to find out what significance the protests in this country have for Lithuania and Belarus. We invite everyone to learn more about the event – you can find videos of all discussions below.
The meeting was organized by the Eastern Europe Studies Centre and DELFI. The event was supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (USA), the Swedish Institute and the Swedish Embassy in Vilnius.
