Biography

Linas Kojala is a Director of a think-tank, the Eastern Europe studies centre, in Vilnius, Lithuania. He teaches international relations at Vilnius University and is an Associate at the Negotiation Task Force, Davis Center, Harvard University.

Kojala comments on international affairs for Lithuanian and international media. His articles and commentary have appeared in many publications, including CNN, Chicago Tribune, Politico, BBC, Die Welt, and Berlingske, among others. He was a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University in 2017-2018 and an Associate Fellow at Foreign Policy Research Institute in 2020.

In 2023, he was included in a group of Munich Young Leaders by the Munich Security Conference and the Korber Foundation.

Kojala has received a Bachelor of Political Science and Masters of European Studies from Vilnius University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business from Oxford University. He is currently studying Executive Master of Business Administration at Cambridge University.

He was voted 3rd most influential public person in Lithuania for three years since 2019, taking 2nd position in 2022. In 2023, he received a Titanium award for foreign policy commentary.
