On 27 November, the EESC hosted the discussion “Ukraine and Moldova’s Road to Europe: countering propaganda, disinformation and building strategic communication”. Speakers included Sergiy Gerasymchuk – Deputy Executive Director of the Foreign Policy Council “Ukrainian Prism”; Igor Zaharov – Former Adviser to the Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu; Marcela Luchita – Representative of the Centre for Strategic Communication and Countering Disinformation. The discussion was moderated by Denis Cenusa, Director of the Expert-Grup European Integration Programme and Associate Expert at the Eastern Europe Studies Centre.
The discussion was held within the framework of the project “Building Strategic Communication to Counter Russian Disinformation in Moldova”, implemented by Expert-Grup in cooperation with the Eastern Europe Studies Centre and with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
