Today, the Centre’s Director, Linas Kojala, and Member of the Seimas, Dovilė Šakalienė, discussed key insights from the Munich Security Conference, which took place on 16-18 February, and its side-event organized by EESC for the second year in a row. The topics were related to international security problems and their solutions.
During the event, a wide range of topics was discussed, including Russia’s war against Ukraine and support for Ukraine, the death of Alexei Navalny, and trends in investment in the industrial industry in Europe. Other topics were also related to threats posed by China, dynamics of transatlantic relations, and the position of the United States in shaping the architecture of European security.
